Tomorrow’s economy will be shaped by the work we do today. That’s why the Town of Tonawanda is working with residents, community groups, organized labor, and local businesses to set out a community-driven vision for growing our economy for the future.
The effort is called Tonawanda Tomorrow and will be focused on creating good-paying jobs for the 21st Century, preparing our residents and workers for those jobs, and reinvesting in our community to preserve what makes Tonawanda such a great place to do business and raise a family.
Over a ten month period starting in the Fall of 2016, Tonawanda Tomorrow drove a process for creating an economic action plan that is grounded in data, shaped by residents and businesses, and deepens Tonawanda’s role as a key regional economic hub.
