About the Event
The 2nd Food Policy Summit – Info Fair and Public Forum explored ideas related to how Erie County residents can leverage the Food Policy Council of Buffalo and Erie County for changes in the local Food System.
This festive gathering attracted over 200 Erie County residents and featured free food, activities for all ages, information about local businesses, and food advocacy organizations. The program included a short play by Road Less Traveled Productions and brief remarks by international food policy council expert, Wayne Roberts, with local experts Diane Picard (Massachusetts Ave Project) and Dan Oles (Promised Land CSA). Attendees were also introduced to the new members of the Food Policy Council of Buffalo and Erie County!
